About Our Name:
A Mystical Unicorn seemed like a logical name for my
business as I have been an avid collector of unicorns
for 20 years, with a collection well over 1000
(I stopped counting). There were so many bookstores
with similar names that I wanted the name of my company
to be unique. (Like Me)
About Our Business:
We are strictly an internet-based business. We do not
have a storefront, which we feel allows us to keep our
inventory listing on our website up-to-date. We are
located in a rural area 10 miles outside of Fredericton,
the Capitol City of New Brunswick, Canada.
The business originated as a website listing information
on authors and their books, but soon expanded to include
out-of-print books for sale. We began this (ad)venture
with an inventory of approx. 3,000 books, which has increased
to over 150,000 paperback books (No Hard Covers) in stock.

We like to keep things hands on so we are a staff of 2. Just Ross and I.
Lucie: I am the mother of 3 grown kids, John, Tim and Tasha.
Our kids have blessed us with 3 grandbabies, Jessica Louise,
Leigh-Anna Faith and our newest grandbaby, Riley Storm. Ross
and I enjoy the fact that we get to travel extensively in
search of large, quality lots of books, which we then sort
and select the ones we want.
The bibliographies are my way of helping readers to have a
comprehensive listing of an authors works. There are now over
6,000 Author Bibliographies listed, that are a culmination of
15 years of research.
Ross: My dear hubby, the brains behind the business. Ross has
now joined me full time. He does all the programming that
keeps our business up and running, and he is also my sounding
board, I throw an idea out to him to hopefully improve the
website and he then makes it work.
He fills the orders and packages them, and then he travels
approx. 150 miles every Monday to ship that weeks orders.
We want to thank all of our loyal customers who have seen
us through all of our changes and upgrades, and have told friends about us.
